Celeste Split


Celeste Split, born on 29 August 1990 in The Hague, is a Dutch korfball player who currently plays for TOP/Solar Compleet in Sassenheim. Celeste has been playing korfball since a young age.

She started playing korfball at the age of 4 at The Hague in Den Haag. Here she plays until 2010, after which she switches to her current club TOP in Sassenheim. With TOP Celeste reaches the top of the Dutch korfball competition several times. She has already won the Dutch korfball competition 5 times and there were three European successes in the European Cup.

Celeste also knows how to impress internationally. With the Dutch Team 'what belongs to the world top' she has won several big prizes. She became 2x World and European korfball champion. In between she won the world title with Dutch U23 and the world championships with the ‘big’ Dutch team. With these achievements she already played more than 25 international matches, but there is certainly more to come.
